"My husband commissioned a ring from Phillips Diamond shop for my birthday. It was a Mother's ring. The simple gold setting is exactly what I would have chosen. My husband told me the designer asked a lot of questions about me, getting a feel for my personality. The center stone is magnificent, but the best part, the part that makes me catch my breath every time I look at the ring are the personal touches built right into the ring. My daughter's birth date and initials are designed into the ring and the initial of our last name is part of the setting! I have to admit that I cried when I opened the jewelry box, but each time I look at the details of the ring, I feel the love of my husband and daughter.
